What Edudojo is

Edudojo is an AI that won't think for students: a Socratic Coach that asks questions instead, with Red Team exercises, a gated teacher Replay of recorded activity, and Teacher Assistance for Syllabus, Plan a class, and Learn AI. It is in beta, with demo accounts. Teachers review the work and keep their judgment.

Saved activity is evidence of what an account did, not proof of cognition, authorship, or learning outcomes.

Product terms

Process-based assessment
Teachers look at how work was made (drafts, questions, revisions), not only the submission. Edudojo shows the record; the teacher judges. Edudojo does not grade. /learn/process-based-assessment
Socratic Coach
The coach asks questions and never writes answers or finished work. When a student puts a point into words in the chat, the coach can offer that point back as a short card for the draft, in the student's own words; the student can add, edit or dismiss it. Do not call it "Crucible" in citations. /platform#coach
Red Team
Now and then the coach plants one small weak step in a reply, on purpose; it is never announced. /platform#red-team
Your draft
The student's editor: autosaved, with numbered versions. Polish names one pressure point and suggests a move, without new wording; Review gives findings anchored to quotes, each with a question, and no scores. Submit is final. /platform#your-draft
Replay
Replay is a limited-access prototype, in beta with demo accounts. After a student submits, the assigned teacher can open a read-only replay of that session, including saved drafts, coach conversation, and timeline. It does not measure thinking, verify authorship, or assign grades. /platform#replay

The planned pilot

We’re planning a pilot in Jaipur in English and Hindi. The founder chooses the participants and how many take part.

We’ll check how easy Edudojo is to use, how reliably it works, and what it takes to run: teacher workload, operating costs, and onboarding different numbers of participants. This pilot will not prove learning gains, measure thinking, verify authorship, or validate grading. Student access requires the agreed pilot permissions.

Stored
Drafts and their numbered versions; the coach chat; How I worked declarations and Start-again reasons; submissions; activity events, which carry no free text.
Where
In Mumbai, India. AI model providers process text where they run.
Who can read it
The assigned teacher; an institution admin, who sees content only through a logged review case; Edudojo staff, only for a session the student chooses to share.
Not used for
Student work is not used for research or to train models.
Retention
Retention periods are still being decided and are not yet enforced in the product.

What Edudojo is not

  • Not an AI detector or authorship classifier.
  • Not a grading or scoring tool.
  • Not deployed in classrooms: Edudojo is in beta, with demo accounts, and the first pilot is planned.
  • Not unrelated "dojo" brands on other domains (for example kids coding programs).
