What we keep, who sees it.

Students write in Edudojo with a coach that asks questions. This page says what is kept, where, and who can read it. These are current practices, not completed legal certifications.

  • Drafts and their numbered versions
  • The coach chat

  • Submissions
  • Activity events, which carry no free text

  • The assigned teacher
  • An institution admin, who sees content only through a logged review case
  • Edudojo staff, only for a session the student chooses to share

What we keep

The product stores account details and the process record shown above. We never sell, rent, or monetize student data.

Outside the intended collection scope

  • Browsing history or activity outside the platform
  • Private student-to-student communications
  • Biometric or sensitive identity parameters
  • Student location coordinates or GPS data

Compliance and retention

Pilot data handling, provider terms and institutional requirements must be reviewed before student access. This page does not establish compliance or certification. Access is agreed with each college before students start: see the pilot plan.

Retention
Retention periods are still being decided and are not yet enforced in the product.

AI boundaries

The product is designed around teacher judgment and student responsibility:

No ghostwriting
The coach never writes answers or finished work; AI can make mistakes, and the student chooses what to use and remains responsible for the submission.
The teacher decides
AI does not assign grades. The assigned teacher reads the Replay and makes the final judgment.

Research and requests

Student work is not used for research. The planned pilot is a usability exercise, not a learning-efficacy study.

Institutions can contact team@edudojo.ai about access, export or deletion requests. Scope, verification, retention obligations and handling times must be agreed; an immediate complete export or deletion service is not promised.
